February 21 marks 46 years since the assassination of El Hadj Malik Shabazz, also known as Malcolm X. Malcolm's rise from precocious child of Garveyites to a drug dealer to icon of human rights in the 1960s is vividly portrayed in Make It Plain. The documentary features interviews with Sonia Sanchez,Ossie Davis, Betty Shabazz as well as rare archival footage.
