Presentation: Leigh Benin “New York City Triangle Factory Fire”

One hundred years ago this month, the Triangle Waist Company factory burned, killing 146 workers. The outrage over this tragedy shifted public and political sentiments in New York and across the nation. Folks joined unions and insisted on improved workplace standards. Come out for a presentation of historical images and archival media drawn from the new book “New York City Triangle Factory Fire” with authors Leigh Benin, Rob Linne, Adrienne Sosin, and Joel Sosinsky.
