Please join PETA to protest the Westminster dog show. Every year in the U.S., 3 to 4 million dogs and cats—many of them healthy, young, and adoptable—must be euthanized for lack of good homes. The AKC and all breeders are to blame for contributing to the massive overpopulation crisis of unwanted dogs in the U.S. In a time when there are millions of animals literally dying for lack of good homes, it is reckless, cruel, and irresponsible to encourage breeding. Please note that the main protest will take place in the evening at Madison Square Garden. However, if you're interested in attending the daytime protest at the other Westminster show venue, at Piers 92/94, please contact Lindsay for details LindsayR@peta.org

Posters and leaflets promoting spaying and neutering and animal adoption will be provided.
