Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition presents Out of Order -- Color
The Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition (BWAC) is holding its summer art show from July 26 through August 17.
The show opens on Saturday, July 26, 2-6 PM. There'll be some special libations from Cocktails with Chocolate, and live music by the jazz tentet, Stefan Bauer and Voyage.
The first floor features Color, a national juried show with cash prizes. Come see for yourself how artists from all around the country have responded to the challenge, "What is color?" in large scale installations, works on canvas, assemblage, photography, mixed media, fabric art, and sculpture.
The second floor, Out of Order, is an open show with the work of over two hundred artists on display.
The show will be open on weekends from July 26th until August 17th-- 2pm to 6pm
BWAC offers visitors the unique opportunity to meet and talk with the participating artists. The goals of BWAC are to encourage and support the work of a broad range of artists active in the metropolitan area.
The BWAC gallery is a perfect destination for a summer weekend. It is across from the Fairway supermarket and down the block from IKEA in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn, with its harbor view, trendy boutiques, and restaurants galore.
