The Zeitgeist Movement is a Global Sustainability Advocacy Organization which conducts regional community based activism. We value and promote technology which could potentially improve the quality of food, transportation, the environment and life. Our defining goal is the installation of a new socioeconomic model based upon technically responsible Resource Management, Allocation, Production and Distribution which would find optimized solutions by making use of our magnificent advancements in technology. The NYC regional Zeitgeist chapter endeavors, through educational outreach, media and film events, to start a dialogue in our community about global solutions to global problems.

The Zeitgeist Movement has been asked to participate in The New Worlds Fair. The New World Fair will be held in Flushing, Queens in the former 1964 NYC World Fair location. This event will be showcasing innovations for a Shrinking World in an Expanding Universe, while pointing out Unity & Peace Through Understanding. Exhibitions that Illuminate New Ideas, Technology, and ways to achieve Sustainability for a Healthier, more balanced, ecofriendly & ethical lifestyle are possible. The event includes exhibitions, films (including the Zeitgeist film ‘Moving Forward’), art, performance and displays of innovation of food, technology and environmental sustainability. Join us on Saturday July 21st 2012 at Flushing Meadow Park at 1pm. The event is in front of the Queens Museum of Art which is close to the Unisphere sculpture.
