Nuclear Lies/Nuclear Truths: From Hiroshima to Iran

Pax Christi Metro New York invites you to its annual commemoration of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and its appeal for the abolition of all nuclear weapons. This event includes prayer, talk, and a public witness. Historian David Watt will provide a historical critique of the bombings and Leila Zand, Middle East Program Director from Fellowship of Reconciliation, will share a contemporary look at the nuclear threat with Iran. Following their presentations, there will be a short procession to Fr. Demo Square, where we will stand in silent vigil. This memorial will take place on
