HELLO OCCUPY FAMILY, FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS!

Join us for a FULL day of OUTREACH, MOBILIZATIONS, CONSCIOUSNESS RAISING, ORGANIZING, TEACH-INS, SPEAK OUTS, FUN, COMMUNITY, AND LOVE!

We have the FULL intent of doing actions that FULLY ENGAGE AND INVOLVE THE 99% during the one year anniversary of Occupy Wall Street. We are still hammering out final logistics on the’ Teach In’ but everything is set! Our Schedule and Principles of Solidarity are below as is our website and contact information.

10:15am-Occupy The Subways (From Liberty Plaza)

11:00am-Occupy The Subways w/Occupy Queens Roosevelt Station

12:00pm-Occupy The Subways (Union Square)

6:00pm-Popular Assembly at Foley or Liberty Plaza..

WHAT IS OCCU-EVOLVE?

MISSION VALUES STATEMENT: -Cooperation/Collaboration-Occu-Evolve is a hub of thought, information, empowerment, action and outreach, focused on the evolution of the Occupy Wall Street Movement, (Other Occupy Community/Campus Based General Assemblies) and all of the mass, progressive, and restorative movements in New York City who are engaged in the struggle to create a better future based on economic justice, community empowerment, and the rights of all people to live a decent and meaningful life.

OUTREACH/ACTION STRUCTURE- Occu-Evolve is composed of members and point people from various working groups of Occupy Wall Street, and general assemblies across the city, who collaborate with OWS, Community Based Assemblies, CBO’s and Movements on strategic city-wide actions, outreach and related projects.

Principles of Solidarity:

Engaging in *Consensual Democracy; based on SHARED values and goals by using a hybrid model of Values Based Consensus and the Ashanti System of Consensual Democracy

Exercising personal and collective responsibility;
Recognizing individuals’ inherent privilege and the influence it has on all interactions;

Empowering one another against all forms of oppression;

Redefining how labor is valued;

The sanctity of individual privacy

The importance of group respect and cooperation ;

The belief that education, health care, justice, a clean and healthy environment, housing, meaningful employment and access to the world’s resources is a human right that belongs to all of the human race rather than just the privileged few;

Making technologies, knowledge, and culture open to all to freely access, create, modify, and distribute.
