Buses leaving from Elizabeth Detention Center at 10:00 am to tour and vigil at NJ facilities incarcerating immigrants for ICE, returning for the annual vigil at 4:00 PM. Early morning vigils at Monmouth County Jail & Sussex County Jail / Buses will stop at: Bergen County Jail (11:00 am); Hudson County Correctional Facility (12:30 pm); Essex County Jail & Delaney Hall (3:00 pm); Elizabeth Detention Center (4:00 pm) / Vans and carpools leaving from Freehold, Morristown, Newark and New Brunswick

Not only is New Jersey home to two private for-profit immigration detention centers, county governments across the state are trading the freedom of their residents for per diem payments from Immigration & Customs Enforcement. People in detention include parents and spouses of US Citizens. They include students, laborers, consumers and taxpayers. They should be released so they can pursue their dreams & continue to contribute to our communities.
