IMPORTANT COURT HEARING OCTOBER 25TH--COME AND SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR A WOOD BOARDWALK!!!

The Coney Island boardwalk is in danger of becoming a road for parks department trucks, police cars and more to drive on. We gotta try to prevent what's left of our planet's surface from being paved over, even though the event, in and of itself, doesn't really seem like a big deal in the grand scheme of things. So to show your concern, please come to a hearing Thursday, October 25th, 9:00 AM, at Kings County Supreme Court in Downtown Brooklyn. Pack the court! It's a boardwalk, not a road!

It is vitally important for us to have a large turnout present in the courtroom when our case is heard. It will indicate to the judge the widespread level of concern that exists with respect to the Parks Department’s plans for the Boardwalk.
BOARDWALK, NOT SIDEWALK!

Text of a cart currently airing on 99.5 FM radio, WBAI:
The Coney Island boardwalk is in danger of becoming a road for parks department trucks, police cars and more to drive on. Coney Island is still the playground of the world, and it's safer and healthier to play, walk, run and dance on a wood boardwalk instead of concrete. So to show your concern, please come to a hearing Thursday, October 25th, 9:30 AM, at Kings County Supreme Court in Downtown Brooklyn. RSVP at 718-449-7017.
