We need you in Brooklyn!

Background: NYS's 22nd Senate District covers the Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst and some other neighborhoods in southwestern Brooklyn. The incumbent-- Sen. Marty Golden, who proudly claims he's for "safe" fracking and often votes with upstate Republicans and against his own constituents--is in a reportedly close race with a worthy challenger--Andrew Gounardes, who says he is "one thousand percent against fracking". In this race we have a decent chance to replace a pro-fracker with an anti-fracker in the NYS Senate!!!

Marty Golden is hosting Town Hall Meetings. CARP (Coalition Against the Rockaway Pipeline) is asking for your help. Show up and help us inform folks about fracking, radon, pipelines. We'll ask Sen. Golden questions, and (at the very least) we'll educate the audience! CARP will bring the props--posters, flyers and petitions--but we need you.

Wednesday, Oct. 24, 7 p.m.
8101 Ridge Blvd. in Bay Ridge
Directions: take the R train to 77th Street in Brooklyn, then walk 2 blocks west and 4 blocks south.
