Location:
Bluestockings Bookstore, Cafe & Activist Center- 172 Allen St btw Rivington & Stanton, a block south of Houston St. & 1st Av.

German student Mascha Artz came to New York in 2009 to study the very diverse scenes of vegans. The result is “VEGAN NY,” a photo book and an interview book that give an in-depth view on fifty vegans living in the city. An ambitious attorney, a filmmaker involved in animal rights, artists, bicycle couriers, and freegans are just some of the characters Artz portrays. Join Artz for a presentation and celebration of the NY release.
