Let the light shine in! Now that we have all moved our clocks, we are going back to our regular vigiling time: 5:30-6:30.
This week (on March 14) we will honor Rachel Corrie. March 16 is the 10th anniversary of her death. She was crushed by an Israeli soldier using a giant (U.S.-made) Caterpillar tractor while she tried to protect a Palestinian family in Gaza.

Please join the Women in Black Union Square Vigil Thursday March 14 at 14th Street and Broadway 5:30-6:30. (If it is too cold we will try to have the good sense to end early.

Help prepare for the March 19 anti-drone action (with a focus on L-3 Communications) on the 10th anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq. Join NYC War Resisters League members for sign-making and action planning. Help create flip-card signs with your favorite “L” words to rename L-3*. We’ll make some flip cards with words like Lousy • Loathesome • Looters and other signs too.

We’ll talk about action plans from 7:00 - 7:30 (ish) and find out what other groups are planning too.
