The film provides a great case study on how we can use political pressure to free the political prisoners of today like Lynne Stewart and Chelsea Manning.

The City University of NY Board of Trustees has appointed former General and CIA Director David Petraeus to teach a seminar class at the Macaulay Honors College. Petraeus is a bona fide war criminal, responsible for recruiting and training death squads in Iraq, which tortured and killed thousands of Iraqis and helped provoke a sectarian civil war. As CIA Director, he oversaw the expanded use of drone attacks in Pakistan and Yemen that killed thousands, mostly civilians.

CUNY students and faculty will be protesting outside the Honors College on September 16, at 2:30 PM. Please join us.
