Columbia student protesters need your help! Our Coalition for a Military Free Campus has been in a struggle with the administration the entire semester over the issue of getting ROTC to return to campus. We have just found out that they will most likely vote on whether to let ROTC return this Friday!! Our coalition has decided to hold a rally in response outside the venue where they hold their vote. Some of the coalition will also be entering the meeting, but unfortunately they check school IDs and only let Columbia students inside.

Before Tunisia and Egypt 2011, there was Peshawar 1930.

During the 1930s and 1940s, in what is now the war-torn border region of Pakistan and Afghanistan, Badshah Khan, a Muslim ally of Gandhi's, organized a 100,000 strong non-violent army, the "Servants of God". Their sacrifices were critical to India’s successful struggle for independence.

After reading Eknath Easwaran's biography of Khan, Nonviolent Soldier of Islam, director Teri McLuhan spent 21 years making this inspiring feature documentary about Khan's life and influence.
