Protest Against Christine Quinn

Date:
Wednesday, September 12, 2012 - 5:15pm - 6:45pm
Location:
New York Times Building 41st St. & 8th Ave.

Over the past couple of years, the NY Times has published extensive puff pieces about Christine Quinn -- from where she eats her meals to how she spends her summer weekends while falling short in holding her accountable for her failed leadership. Of course, the Times has never reported on the fact that Quinn has killed every meaningful animal protection bill introduced in the the City Council since 2006.

We assume that the Times' promotion of Quinn is attributed to the fact that Bloomberg, Quinn's most powerful supporter, has indicated an interest in buying them.

Over 30 of us staged a great protest (a walking picket) at the NY Times building on August 28th. So, we're going back.

Some things you may not know about Christine Quinn…..

is the Speaker of the City Council and is running for Mayor of NYC in 2013.

has violated the public trust by overturning term limits after NYers voted twice to keep them.
