Picket line against US/UN occupation

Far from acting as "peacekeepers," the troops of the UN Stabilization Mission in Haiti have suppressed demonstrations, sexually exploited young Haitians and infected the country with cholera, causing 6,000 deaths.

The UN Security Council plans to renew MINUSTAH's mandate on October. Join the Batay Ouvriye Solidarity Network in calling for an end to the occupation.

Batay Ouvriye Solidarity Network

We are remembering the 7.1 magnitude earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12, 2010 killing 500,000 people and leaving 1.5 million homeless. Today nothing has changed for the grieving families, the thousands wounded and the 1.5 million homeless in at least 3 cities in Haiti. Come and reflect with us on the significance of January 12 in the context of the present political crisis after the November 28, 2010 general elections in Haiti.
