Bike Repair Class: Wheels and Spokes -Bk

Learn how to true and wheel and replace broken spokes. Classes are free and open to all levels of experience and expertise.
The fourth Tuesday of every month focuses on wheels and spokes. There's no need to do the classes in order, or go to the beginner's class before any others. As always, people can use the tools to repair their own bikes, though they cannot expect guidance for the mechanics. People who want to work on their own bikes and need the help of a mechanic should come to the Open Workshop every Thursday nite.Workshop may last shorter than 2 hours.

Earth Day Polar Bear CON Bike Ride!

That's right- PolarBearCon!

Floods, Cyclones, Snow Storms, Birds falling from the sky, Ice caps melting. The Earth is telling us something. This Earth Day, show your support for sustainable transportation and clean energy; be a Polar Bear. It is predicted that by 2050, the Alaskan Polar Bears will be extinct. Right now they're on the threatened list and groups like NRDC are trying to get them Endangered status to offer more protection.
